Reading English Novels:

By சுப்பன்

Is one of the greatest challenge for some (/many like me) for reasons like:

- size does matter – sheer volume is a terror..

- many times I end up reading and re-reading the same pages(atleast greater than 30 pgs) probably due to the fact that I can’t keep tab of really what I am reading..

- even after reading several pages not sure of who is the hero/heroine ..

- keeping track of many names (russian, french names etc..) and inability to pronouce internally..

- poor geographic knowledge that makes this complicated in understanding really where the real plot is happening..

- poor in history…i can’t understand references to Great (looks like) events..

- to prove to others (who witness our reading) about the consistent progress in reading…leads to only turning pages fastly..

- struggle to remember many dialogues and punch statements to prove in a group discussion that I have read that..

Note:

I can pat myself for not revealing many other weakness in reading english novels..such as weak in ‘vocabulary’,gramma(e?)r etc….
